I just relooked and they stopped adding peanut oil to it in 2006.lol

Q. If your child is allergic to peanuts will they also be allergic to hazelnuts?
A. Not all nut allergies are the same. Peanuts are grown underground and are classed as legumes, while hazelnuts are tree nuts as they grow on trees or bushes. People with peanut allergy may also be allergic to other nuts such as hazelnuts however this is not always the case. Prevalence of hazelnut allergy in Australian children is estimated to be 0.18% [2], compared to 3% for peanut allergies [3]. In addition to this information, in 2006 Ferrero changed the ingredients of Nutella so that peanut oil is no longer used.

thats good information to know. the allergy test my daughter had did peanuts AND other treenuts as seperate spots. just the peanut came up. it was annoying but shes grown out of it. she was diagnoised at 2 and shes almost 6 and her last test (last year) the peanut allergy did not pop up so shes able to eat it now.

That's great! Peanut allergies are so hard to deal with. My daughter didn't get my allergy which was such a relief.
