Yay Michael gained weight!

Michael gained 3 of the 4 ounces back so relieved about this! The doctor said even though he is still 0% on the growth chart he is still happy with this because he is staying on that curve and said he woud be fine if Michael continued to say in the 0% because atleast he isn't dropped below and he would still be gaining some sort of weight! He goes back next week for another weight check and to do his 6 month check-up. We were told to continue adding 1 teaspoon of the powder forumula in his breastmilk until we get him on track with eating like he is suppose to for the extrea calories and we get to start solids!! I asked if I was suppose to give him his breastmilk bottle first then solids and he said yes! Also he wants us to start out at minimum of 2-3 solid feeds a day since he is sooo low on the charts! Was also excited that he ate 27 ounces on Monday most he has ate in over a month so he was almost up to what he was eating in a day. Michael was 8lbs 15 ounces at birth and today he was 13lbs 11 ounces and he will be 6 months old on Wednesday. He was in the 95% at birth and today is in the 0% due to his reflux   hoping he will outgrow soon.

At one point it took my son 2 weeks to gain 2 ozs...
he is now on zantac and soy formula, he is 7 months and last i knew weighed 16 pounds. he just now seems to be starting to grow out of it since we started baby food so hopefull it will help him too

He has been doing this now for weeks! He has only had one large weight gain in 2 weeks of 11 ounces and that was 2 months ago other then that he gains an ounce here and there. Michael lost 4 ounces in 2 weeks instead of gaining last week and from last weeks appointment he has finally gained 3 of the 4 ounces that he lost back. 3 weeks ago He weighed 13 lbs 12 ounces last week he weighed 13lbs 8 ounces and today he is only an ounce off of what he weighed 3 weeks ago so we are thankful for the weight he gained back instead of loosing more weight. It's been really stressful and rough because he refuses to eat. Michael takes prevacid and zantac in the morning and zantac at bedtime. We are hoping he will grow out of it soon!
