Money order?

posted 21st Mar
Is a Moneygram at Walmart the same as a money order?
Or....where can I get a money order? Sorry, I just have never done this before.

I have no idea about the moneygram but you can get a money order at the post office.

No they are not the same. You can get a money order at your post office or a convenient store I'm not sure of anywhere else.

Yes they are. I think you can get them at 711. Your bank might also sell them.

Yup, just make sure you bring extra than the amount you want to put on the money order because they charge you for tax and smurf.

I don't think Wal-Mart can just print a Moneygram out, I believe it's like Western Union where you have to send it out to someone, but you can get a money order from your bank/credit union, the post office, and a lot of grocery stores sell em too. Just go to customer service and tell them you need a money order.

Walmart has money orders. They're like $.60. A money gram is kind of like a transfer where u send it through one Walmart an someone picks it up at another Walmart. Our post office has them but they're pricey. The local grocery store does them for $.49 so that's where I go.

It says it's like $1.20 for one from the PO and that's closer so I'll probably just do that

So Moneygram is like a Western Union transfer, okie dokie.
