Quoting kthx.:" OH. I see. Have you tried methods to get her to turn?"

Thank you!! and yeah ive tried about everything i can naturally to get her to turn. She was transverse about two weeks ago and then just turned the wrong way. Really wishing she would just turn back on her own.

Quoting White Chocolate Milk:" Have you tried looking at spinningbabies.com? Or using any other methods to get baby to turn on her own?"
Yeah ive tried everything on that site except the acupuncture stuff., Ive been swimming and rocking everyday. I did get her to turn from transverse but then she decided to turn all the way breech instead of head down unfortunately!

Hi! i had a spinal block with two of my daughters and also suffer with bad anxiety.
My anxiety was very high and i went down first, as waiting makes it worse.
The spinal block was fine, they give an injection to numb the area first and then the numbing injection. All done in a few minutes.
Theres no pain during c- section, just like someone washing up in your tummy.
Doesnt take long and your baby is there.
Really worth working on your breathing and relaxing as much as possible.
You will be fine and the experience will be one not to be missed!
Good luck!

Well good luck to you! Maybe she'll get a little spunk and end up turning or your ECV will work if you decide to get it done.

why in the smurf are they doing an epidural for a version? that makes NO sense. you realize you can refuse that right? I would much rather have a spinal for my c-section then have an unnessecary one for a version. we don't do epidurals for versions here

It was on my record that if I needed an emergency c section I was to be put under general. I am hypersensitive to medical procedures (although I have a very high pain tolerance lol) and I go into shock very easily, there is a medical name for my condition but i cant remember it. It was a real risk that I would vomit/pass out and my blood pressure drop to insanely low levels and be a risk to ne and the baby so yeah while it wasn't the most ideal c section situation it was best for me.

Luckily I was able to give birth naturally and drug free exactly what I wanted

I wouldn't recommend being put under for a c section. I was but not by choice. Horrible experience. I was in recovery for a couple of hours after but for the rest of the day and night I was so groggy and disorientated I kept falling asleep. I couldn't hold my daughter for nearly 24 hours. I got a fever then as well so was kept on a drip and catheter for longer. Once the grogginess wore off I couldn't wait to get up and move around. I would definitely have preferred to have a spinal block and if I'm ever in that position again ill ask not to put under.

They said its for if anything were to happen they could just take ms right away for a csection, but I'm thinking I'm just going to refuse the epidural especially since my first it only worked on one side so. They also said they do it because the pain is so bad which I don't think it will be, but they were insisting it was going to be.

I had the inversion done with my first. The only thing they did at my hospital was make sure the OR was ready just in case and they gave me this shot in my iv that loosened up all my muscles. They told me to breath through them messing with my belly and not tighten up. I never once had to have an epidural while they did that. Oh and they put me to where I was almost on my head while they did it. I had to have a c-section with him he didn't want to flip. But they did it 4 weeks before they scheduled my c-section and then the friday before my c-section they did an ultrasound to make sure if he was breach or not. When he was born he was stuck between my pelvic bones. Not only did it turn into an emergency surgery they had to have the nurses pull apart my hips to get him unstuck. He was born in less than a minute. The dr ended up cutting his butt open too. No stitches and it didn't bleed but it was deep. He came out not crying I thought something was wrong with him. Nothing was wrong he just didn't want to cry.
