Quoting HNAC:" Is that normal or are you sensitive to it? I definitely will. Especially since he's getting anesthesia ... [snip!] ... I plan to talk to his neuro about what happened since hes his neuro and a doctor at the hospital where he got the sdeeg. "
As far as I know it's normal.
Since it was probably a center that does this a lot, they probably get comfortable in a routine which can make them seem insensitive. I would go in and talk to them about what happened (and try not to sound too accusatory) and see if it was normal, what to expect next time, if he may have an aversion, how to avoid this happening, etc.
If it's abnormal they will probably come up with a new plan.
I would make a point to ask 845873684978 questions from now on though. I always try to know the ins and out of any meds prescribed to me or my son because I'm anal retentive. But it's comforting. I always have the pharmacist print off the info they have on the med and read through it.
