Only when I walk?

posted 20th Mar
When I walk I get strong regular contractions but when I rest I get none....why is this? I though by stop when you move and real persist regardless soon what are the ones that only come when you're active?? I'm being induced at 7am tomorrow and hope to go in natural before then...do I have any hope? Am I wasting my time? They get good and regular when I walk so would you bother with the walking??

I went into labor at 38 weeks, 7 hours before my scheduled induction! So its definitely possible. Keep walking around!

I did have my membranes stripped, though. But I was dilated to a 3 before that so I think I would've gone into labor that night regardless.

Maybe you'll go into labor before the induction, then! Why are you getting induced? You could always refuse (unless it's super important that you deliver soon) and wait it out a couple more days
