What to bring/gift?

So we will be visiting family across the country soon and I would like to bring them something to say Thank you for having us, letting us sleep there, eat, etc.

Any ideas on what I can bring them???

Is Illinois known for anything? Could you bring something that is from your state that would be like a food or wine?

How about a house warming gift? Meaning something they could use in the home. I bought my aunt a candle warmer for letting us stay at her beach house. She loved it.

Maybe wine, food is a bit harder because we'll be in the car for awhile.

Me too. I have them all through the house.   Make sure you get some wax too, if that's what you decide. Nothing would be worse than having a warmer with no wax. Haha
