Is it just me? 30 wks.

I have such trouble sleeping at night because I cannot get comfortable, I am usually in so much pain and I have some severe RLS. I also have scoliosis so my sciatic pain is almost intolerable. Lately, I find myself waking up still half asleep early morning and sometimes mid-afternoon if the hubby lets me sleep, and I end up crying so bad in pain. I actually woke up this morning and was in so much pain my immediate reaction was sobbing.

Is anyone else this hormonal or in pain? also are you dilated at all? I am a fingertip but still fairly thick cervix wise. I am high risk and with my last pregnancy, my son who was born in 2011, I was in preterm labor from 20 weeks until 35, I was a previous c-section so they won't let me get past 4 cms and VBAC isn't allowed in this county. The day I turned 35 weeks with my son my water broke. I had my firstborn daughter at 38 weeks.

I'm only 24 weeks and having problems like that... but I'm not high risk or anything, just can't get comfortable or stay asleep for having to go to the bathroom. Hope everything gets a little better for you...

i'm really uncomfortable. it just started getting bad. i'm 28 weeks.
i wasn't able to exercise that much this pregnancy so my low back hurts all of the time and the RLP's are excruciating. getting comfortable to sleep is ridiculous and the baby kicks the crap out of my bladder and i feel like i have to pee every 3 minutes sometimes.

i could go on and on....lol...

hope you get some relief.

me too.. even if i could find just one position to be comfortable in, I would take that! I hate crying, and for no reason..even if i am in pain, I'm not the type who usually cries from that pain.. its just been so so bad lately.

Have you tried sleeping in a recliner? I lay with a heating pad on my lower back/hips (I turn it off before I actually fall asleep) and that helps me. Also, I do daily stretching with my legs to help avoid RLS (which I've dealt with for years).
We went out of town this last weekend and had to sleep in a hotel with beds that were absolutely the worst beds I have ever slept on in my life. It was like sleeping on the friggin' floor... Anyway, I woke up crying several times those nights because I was so uncomfortable and I hurt so bad (I too am NOT a crier). I feel (some) of your pain    and I'm so sorry

its rough. and yeah, my only place i can actually get decent sleep is our leather couch which is a super padded couch esp on the back so it kind of like supports my back and i just sleep somewhat lifted.

Caitlyn had this from 26 weeks. We got given a boppy and it was amazing. she would use it as a hole to put her bump in so she could lie on her tummy or lay ontop of it and it helped. You could get a breastfeeding pillow or even a tri-pillow and see if it helps?

Someone suggested to her to go to a chiropractor and get a pregnancy allignment. I dont know what the risks etc are with it but it may be worth checking out.

Im also 30 weeks and it happens to me too but my doctor always said that cause of it are the ligament s that are stretching. Sometimes I can't even get up of ma bed because of the pain. Im not high risk but my doctor told me that she can come early cause ma cervix is short but all the pain in normal

Yeah, I have thought about a pregnancy alignment and I think I might talk to my regular chiropractor & my OB.. it's gotten to the point that I'm just in ridiculous amounts of pain, and tylenol doesn't do smurf. :/

I am so sorry to all the mommas who are dealing with it but we're almost there!!   thats the only thing that makes it all worth while. meeting our precious little ones.
