What's in your Easter basket?

posted 19th Mar
If you don't do gifts/easter baskets, then, that's fine,
but for those of you who do..
what does the easter bunny put in the basket?
A few gifts & etc?
A large gift, some small & etc.
We don't do much candy (we do gummies for candy)
But just curious as to what your easter bunny plan is

My parents, growing up, always did a big gift separate from the basket,
then a basket with smaller gifts, etc stuff, and a special (money) egg.
I've just done the same for the past 7 years for the kids.

DD's getting another plush money
crayons
a curious george coloring book
dress up necklaces
hair bows (or buckies as she calls um)
a light up bouncy ball
a ton of those gerber toddler squisher things
and a hallow chocolate rabbit

**eta**
she was going to get some really pretty sandals but she found them when my sister was baby sitting and wore them out and about so they aren't much of a surprise anymore

Last year we didn't do very much dd got a book and a build a bear. This year she's getting a book and Mulan in Blu ray. I'll probably get her some clothes too. I don't do plastic eggs. So I can't really do a money egg   but I am going to get some bubbles and things for outside as well. Dh is getting candy and some cartoons from his childhood on DVD.

Hmm.. it's kinda different every year. They always get a Big ears bunny. I got my son a really cool Batman watch that holograms the bat signal. I ordered them both these things called Lollypop dollies, and they'll get a puzzle, crayons/markers. Usually one Reeses egg, and I throw in some jelly beans, a book.

Ooo dried fruit is a good idea, i don't know why i didn't think of that. So far i have cashews & hazelnuts (their favorites), craisins and trail mix for eggs.

I got DD's today. It's got a stuffed bunny, a huge canister of bubble stuff (tons of different kinds of wands and glow bubbles!), some of those little capsules that pop out into sponges in the tub, a twix egg, some reese's pieces egg thingies, some sort of toy egg with Cinderella on it, a toy car with candy in it, and some hair clips. I meant to get her some crayons or a book or something but really, it's stuffed so it's a good thing I didn't get anything else.

We do first day of Spring rather than easter, but same idea   All our kids get eggs filled with little candies, plus a big chocolate bunny. Or in our boy's case, a bag of something fruit candy, because he's a freak and doesn't like chocolate.

The rest of their basket includes a new bathing suit, a complete outfit, a beach towel, sunglasses, and shoes. They also get a book or two, art supplies, and a toy.

We find any excuse to have a party (just family) and give presents, so it's as much fun for DH and I as them.

Yeah, she tries to act like shes not interested in girly stuff (like dresses . . . she doesn't like dresses AT ALL! lol) but she shows her true girly colors when it comes to shoes and jewelery . . . oh and shopping! lol
