This made me lol

And I'm bored so I'm sharing....

My daughters go to a Christian school even though we don't practice religion. So the lack of religion in our lives is really showing lately because my oldest asked me who "He" was and why they sang songs about "Him" at school. Then the other day, she saw a flier we got from another church with a picture of Jesus on it and she said "hey look! That's the guy from my school!" lol

How come your kids go to a Christian school if you're not religious? Just wondering.

Don't you think that would confuse your kids? Well she obviously already is.

I should say we aren't practicing religion. I grew up Catholic and my daddy teaches Sunday school. I've talked to them about God a lot but my husband is agnostic and until recently our agreement was no church. Now they can go to church until teenage years if/when they decide not to.

The main reason I chose the school was for the academics. It's a very good school.

The guy from her school, haha.

I went to a parochial school and academically it was awesome and rated very highly, we had a few kids who weren't religious.

Apparently I worded it wrong. lol. It's not that we aren't religion we just don't go to church. Academics are important to me. Caroline is in a class with 3-4 year olds, she's 2....

lmao that's too funny.

i totally get why you would send your kids to a christian school for the academics.
i chose catholic school for high school and i'm not catholic because it was the best school in my area.

Often times that's the case out here, huh? I just thought it was funny she thought Jesus was some guy from school. Like a celebrity. I guess He is but still.

How are you feeling?

LOL! Are you going to tell her anything about God/Jesus??

I went to a Christian school, but we had all types of religions (Catholics, Mormons, Baptists, Church of Christ, etc). We also had people who didn't go to church at all. Our school was the best academically! I had zero issues in college since I had basically already taken all my pre-reqs & basics in high school (same books & everything).

I asked my dad to since he teaches sunday school. I asked him to start talking to her about. I'm going to go to a few churches including her school and see if I like them if so I'll start taking them.
