HELP HAIR FALLING OUT

My son is a year and 2 weeks. Thin hair, his hair has never not I strand fallen off his head. Not that I have seen anyways.

Just gave him a bath. Looked at his back big clump of hair. His hair.
Then I ran my hands through his hair more came out! Im not talking a few strands Im talking a huge chunk.

His hair is now dry, I run my hands through and get 6+ strands coming out.

Maybe Im being dramatic but Im a first time mom who has no idea wtf this is.

Please HELP!

has there been a change in his diet lately?
any medications or illness?

2 weeks ago he was put on a steriod because he broke out in welts and hives from some reaction to a virus. But he has been on them 4 other times with no problems.

Also hes had a few bites more than usual of sugar this week but not much at all.
No food changes nothing.

i probably wouldnt worry,its probably nothing but you could always call his pedi and ask.

DDs hair started coming out around that age. Came back in a different color.

yepp. It came out on the sides for some reason, like a receding hairline. She also had craddle cap.
