Blood clots.

I'm almost 5 weeks PP and my bleeding has been kinda weird.
I just started to bleed again yesterday (the 3rd time since I had DD)
well, this morning the blood has been a very DARK red with lots of blood clots.
The blood clots seem to be getting bigger as the day goes along.
At what size, should I start to worry about the size?

They're about the size of a dollar coin.

I think I was told golf ball size either way a dollar coin size I would call the ob office and talk to them

After I had my Son I bled 3 straight weeks, off a week then started again and bled for another 3 weeks straight so the Dr put me on a pill to help my uterus contract and empty out. So if I were you I'd call them cause they can help you get it out quicker than your body is allowing it to happen.

I would call your doctor because that is concerning.

Unless you have been more active than you were before.

But that it is bright red at this point is what is concerning, they may want to do a ultrasound to make sure you didn't retain any placental tissue or give you some methergine to make your uterus contract harder.
