Kidney infection?

I went to the ER Thursday with really bad pelvic pain. I ended up having a really bad UTI. I have been drinking water and taking the antibiotics they prescribed me. This morning I woke up with a really sharp stabbing pain between my ribs in my back/side. I can barely breathe it hurts soo bad. I don't know if this is just a symptom of the UTI or if it could have turned into a kidney infection. I really don't want to go back to the ER if it is just a symptom of the UTI, but I am starting to freak out because I can barely breathe. Could it be just another symptom?

i dont think so momma. UTI`S dont hurt in ur ribs. they hurt in ur bladder area. if its a kidney innfection u deffinantly need to get it treated right away. having a kidney infection can cause ur kidneys to fail or shut down. it happened to my mom when she was pregnant with me and it caused soooooo many problems for her. not trying to scare u momma but its better to go in and be safe then not and something bad happen. good luck!
