Diono Radian R100 vs R120

would you spend the extra 40$ and get the R120 since it RF to 45 and harnesses to 80 or would you just get the R100 that RF to 40 and harnesses to 65

DD is 9m and 20lbs
DS just turned two and it 28lbs

How long do u plan on harnessing? I went with the 80lb ones cause I wanna harness as long as possible. Dd is 5 and still harnessed and will be until she outgrows her Britax frontier. Dd2 has a diono but a long ways to go for ffing.

DS is already FF id like to RF him again...he really doesnt care lol id like to harness until they are each 6-7 y/o with that being said SO was a chunky baby but a skinny kid and my ex was always really skinny DS has been 28lbs for the last 6-7 months which is why i think the R100 should be good i cant imagine a 6 y/o being 65lbs my oldest nephew turns 6 next month and is only 40lbs

I Just bouht the R100 for ds who is 4. My kids tend to be on the smaller side (he is about 34lbs ) and my son who just turned 7 is 45lbs (still harnessed) . So I figure he it's going to take them a while before they hit 65lbs especially with the way mine grow.

Is the 120 taller? Cause height is a big factor too. My dd is 5 and 50 lbs. she faded at 35 lbs when she was 3.

nope the height is the same and with DS being 35in and DD being 28 1/2 i like the idea of a taller height limit but they are the same
can you imagine your 5y/o to gain 15lbs by the time shes 6?

haha yea id like to harness until 6 atleast but hopefully until 7 i think by then they will be ready to safely FF in a highback

Idk when ill be ready. I don't really set goals no just go with the flow and if we hit limits I reassess what I wanna do.
