when does a tilted uterus correct itself.

posted 18th Mar
im trying to find peace of mind and hope for the best that im not miscarrying. i remember at my last ob appointment which was about 3 - 4 months ago. i went to go get my iud taken out... the ob said i had a tilted uterus. ive read having a tilted uterus can make it very hard to find a baby in the ultrasound until farther along. & a tilted uterus will correct itself at 12 + weeks in a pregnancy.... can a tilted uterus correct itself without you being pregnant?

I'm so sorry but I don't know the answer to your question but I have an IUD copper and is a tilted uterus a side effect from getting an IUD?

Mine "corrected" itself by my anatomy scan at almost 20w. Have no idea when it did it though.

I have a retroverted tilt.. Mine didnt straighten out until later on, it was still tilted at my 17 week scan, but not noticeable by my 21 week scan, because the baby is bigger at this point
We couldn't find the baby on the ultrasound until about 8 weeks and couldn't get the heartbeat on a Doppler until about 15 weeks

I only had bleeding in my first trimester.. Not after having sex.. Though I did bleed after sex when I was pregnant with my first.. I was not aware of my retroverted uterus Until this pregnancy
I never heard of bleeding being a concern with a tilted uterus, just discomfort during sex

I don't think an IUD is a cause, but I know child birth is one

I've been told by some drs it doesn't correct itself. And by others that it does. And mine did so idk, idk if everyone else's does or not.
