I laid out some chicken wings to defrost yesterday evening (not sure what time, really) and we wound up going out to dinner instead. I forgot to put them up before going to bed and DH didn't do it so they sat on the sink all night. I got up around 10 and stuck them in the fridge but I've been debating all day if they are still OK to cook.

What do you think?

I wouldn't. You really aren't supposed to defrost meat outside of the fridge anyway. I'd toss it.

So they've been out for more than 12 hours? Noooooo throw them away!!! We're they even cold anymore when you put them back in the fridge? Lol

i would say no. BUT while i was pregnant my MIL cooked and served us a WHOLE chicken that she'd left out for 4days!!!!!! because she couldn't fit it in the fridge or freezer. She didn't tell us that it was left out untill after we ate it. Sm**rfing grose.... but saying that it didn't taste bad and none of us got ill.....

I wouldn't eat it.

nah it was summer. and, despite it being the UK it was actually pretty hot (hot enough to eat outside) i was pretty annoyed yea, especially cause i was pregnant. no way would i have eaten it if i knew.
