im on the computer and DS was trying to climb all over me and i told him no and to go sit on the couch.
i just looked over and hes slouched into the couch giving me a death stare lol

As if you've never had a kid that wanted your 100% attention for the entire time they were awake. It's totally fine to take some "mommy only" time without catering to your kids every whim. Haha, death stare- my daughter has one heck of one of those. Looks just like me when she does it too

I haven't, actually lol DS is only 9 months, and is quite content chasing the dogs, or playing with his toys when I want "Mommy-time" Sometimes it seems he only wants me when he's hungry or sleepy

See- there is the disconnect. Don't assume everyone else's kids are independent and aren't up their mom's butts constantly. Mine, for one, is pretty needy and she's not even close to being as needy as some of my friends' kids.

Preaching to the choir sister! I split custody with my ex, though, so I'm usually pretty thrilled to have her up my butt   there are days, though…
