But we need help. This may get long and please do NOT quote! SO and I have been having sex since 2008. We have never used condoms. The first time we were going to have sex he got soft as soon as he put it on so we kinda said smurf it and just went without for the past few years. All was good up until January of last year when surprise I got pregnant with our now 6 month old son. Then last month at 4 months pp I miscarried. Ive been on bc pills since I was 15. Gotten pregnant on them 3 times now so clearly that isnt working for me so we tried doing the whole condom thing the other night. Yep as soon as he put it on he got soft again. So wtf gives? Hes always had this problem and if we cant use condoms we cant have sex ever and we love sex so thats not an option. I dont know if hes just overthinking it or something but I dont know what to do. Anyone ever had a guy like this? Is there a certain kind of condom to use or something? Im at a complete loss and hes to shy to ask a doctor about it. Do not quote please***

I don't know what to tell ya- my hubby has the same issue and I've met a few other guys that did too. I was on mirena so as soon as we knew we were wanting to be together for a long time and were monagamous, we both got a total screen (bc I had been promiscuous before him) and after everything was free and clear we started going to town. Is mirena a possibility for you? I loved mine.

DH is like that. The condom goes on, he goes soft. I have no clue why. And he would try to play it off like "no its OK. It'll go back up." It didn't. Have you tried an iud? Or depo? Nueva ring? I'm not sure what else you could try... good luck though! I hope everything works out :-)

what kind of condoms are you using? whenever So used Durex that would happen. As soon as he started using Trojan it wasnt a problem.

An ex of mine said he thought he lost a lot of sensitivity from being circumcised because he couldn't feel or stay hard, even with the thinnest of condoms. I told him to start masturbating with one on until it worked. Sex took way longer, which was okay   But I was a teen and refused to have sex without a condom.
Have you thought about getting and IUD?

Every BF I've had had this same problem. With DD1's Dad, he was able to use the lambskin condoms because I guess they don't feel like they're on as much?
Can't you use another type of BC? Also, have you tried the lambskin condoms?

He HATES how it feels. He calls it sausage casing and that it just ruins the mood so idk if its a mental thing or if the way it feels really just makes him lose it. We had a ball the other night we were cracking up and just gave up after like half an hour of trying. It was bad and even though he was laughing at the time I can tell his ego is hurt.
