17 month old speech

What can your 17ish month old say regularly? I hate to compare kids im just bored and curious lol  

My son says puppy (anything thats not human is a puppy lol), potatoe, blues clues, woof woof, choo choo, baby, ca ca (for kitty cat)...and he'll repeat things now and then. Lots of babble goin on too lol

Aweee. Elliot loves animals she makes every animal noise on the planet lol. She says bow wow wow for a dog because that's what her favorite book says dogs make lol.

She just turned 18 months, but has only picked a few more words in the last month.

She can say:

i'm trying to get him to do more animal sounds..how did your daughter learn? I'm looking to get a big book of animals.

We have a few books, but what really helped DD was the little people animals. I put them in a basket and ask her to get the pig or which animal says moo...and she'll pick out the animals.

Books with sounds, and it helps we live 2 minutes from the zoo and have a membership haha

Yeah if I try to bring him inside from playing he'll tell me NONONONONONO. That's the only time he'll say it. Lol. He's not verbal for the most part. He's still babbling.

Same here! He wants something he reaches or points. He won't talk. He understands everything though. Knows most of his body parts and a ton of other words. Just wont say them!! So frustrating!
