every once in a while he will say 'bite'
'herewo' (here you go)
'huh'
'dada'
'ma'
and that's about it. most of the time it's just babble. he's way behind...mostly because he's had constant ear infections...we just got tubes friday and i'm hoping he'll start saying more!

he does understand a LOT though. like sit down, bath, socks, shoes, eat, drink, outside, let's go, bye bye, give me a kiss, lay down, change your diaper, night night time...he understands SO much just refuses to actually say it.

me too! 2 doctors have called him borderline speech delayed. but im not really worried...i know he will talk. he's only 16 1/2 months. at least he's understanding just about everything and will follow through with it.
especially now that he has tubes and everything doesn't sound like its underwater to him hopefully he'll start picking up.

DD had her tongue clipped at 6 months, so I believe that set her behind.
