sensitive nipples

I have reeeaaallllyyy sensitive nipples. Like...insanely sensitive. Not like to the point of hurting but you know.
With BFing this baby, if there a way to help me kind of EASE into getting them used to feeding? or something that can help until they get used to it?

Mine hurt so bad when I started BF my daughter and I used a nipple shield and it did wonders for the pain.

The first is to help the baby latch better. The secondvis part of a pump.

I hated the sheilds. He tried sucking my nipple through the holes. Just practice GOOD latching. I can help via facetime if youd like.

The first one the second one is for a breast pump. Im telling ya the first one did wonders for me.

My BFing class is in June so hopefully I learn a lot from that, but it's good I have you too  

My mom told me to take a loofa or cloth and rub them semi hard in the shower.. When I started nursing it didn't really hurt at all, the let down (pins and needles) hurt the most. I thought she was crazy and I probably looked super awkward.

I just remember the time I tried BFing in the hospital the nurse showed me these hard ass plastic ones to help people with latching. It was so uncomfortable.

Nobproblem. A bfing class is helpful but they kinda sugar coat smurf lol.

You dont have to toughen them up. A good latch = no pain.

yeah that was my little girls problem, I used them for one day and she got the latch good and I never had to use them again.
