Mereina(sp) IUD.

Any one have it, do you like it? Have you ever had any problems? Please give me any information on it you know.

I had Mirena for 4 years. I loved it and Ill get it again after this baby.

I've had it since August 2009. No issues so far. Expect alot of bleeding when you initially get it. Since i've had it i've experienced 0 cramps when AF is in town.

Yep.

I had it for two years, got pregnant in the first month of having it out, and had another put back in after my son's birth.

I don't really have periods and I've not had any of the weight gain/mood swing/lethargy issues that many women notice while on it.

Eh, I had it, and it embedded into my uterine wall. It also made me into a raging bitch and made me gain weight that I still can't really get worked off. I'd never get another one.

After I had Dd in 08 I got the Mirena. The first year I had it, it was great. Lighter shorter periods, no cramping etc. The only issue I had was Dh could feel the string so my Dr cut them back.

Then I started having cramps and irregular periods. Eventually I would bleed 2 weeks stop a week, bleed a week, stop for two months etc. Anyway I went to the doctor and the Mirena had embedded in my uterus.

I had it removed in 2011 and started TTC. In July of 2012 I got pregnant and had a miscarriage with complications that we believe to be due to the Mirena.

Eta: I also had some weight gain, mood swings and I completely lost my sex drive.

I had it for 4 years, took it out when we were wanting to ttc, waited 2 cycles to let my cycles build (the last 2 years on Mirena my cycles were either nonexistentent or very light) and we got a BFP the first cycle we actually started TTC. If we were wanting to wait a while before the next baby I'd definitely get it again but were wantin to have another after this one as soon as my body is ready again.

I had it for almost 3 yrs and I have no complaints about it at all. I loved it and plan on it again after Henry comes
