For any momma's out there who are going back and forth on whether to get this or not, it is AWESOME! My 3.5 year old b/g twins LOVE it. Because of where their birthday falls, they are going into Pre-K a year later then everyone else and I think this is really going to help them. It's usually $7.95/month but if you buy a year now it's only $59.95 broken into 3, $19.99 payments. Anyone else use or have used this? What are your thoughts? Did it help your child?

i'm interested in doing this too. My daughter wont be going to preschool, so I would like her to know how to do this stuff. I want to hear if other mothers like it too.

My daughter loves it & it has really helped her with her letter recognition and letter sounds.
My son LOVES the fact that he gets tickets for completing things. lol
My daughter is 3.5 & my son is 20months. I definitely think it's worth it. We usually do 2 levels every day. One right after breakfast and the other right after nap.

I've seen the commercials and I've been seriously debating it.
I'm sure my two year old would love it!

We've done several lessons today. It makes me so happy to see how EXCITED they are about learning!!! And DS loves that he gets the tickets too.

My girls are 4. They will be 5 in may. Believe it or not, you don't have to buy expensive programs to "help" them. Your best form of help is to read to them and play "games" with them. My girls started preschool at 3. They have always been ahead of the curve in their class. This is large in part to me being a SAHM. Children who get the extra time and attention on these things with their parents have the desire to learn and absorb things like sponges. My girls wrote their names and the majority if the letters in the alphabet properly (that is what they consider a success is when they form the letter properly starting from the top to bottom) at the end of their first year in preschool. Now, they are asking me how to spell things and helping write the grocery list. If you can, try to get on a program called Galileo. It will tell you the things that children in your kids age/class are learning and give you tips on how to teach them properly at home as to not confuse them when they get to school.
Lots if puzzles, books, blocks and coloring at this age are your best tools.

I couldn't agree more that having interaction with your children is the best way to teach them and we do all of the above with them. I like abcmouse though because it has lessons that cover all basis; (math, science, letters, reading, writing etc. ) and also that it is so much fun for them. I wouldn't consider $60 expensive and was looking for something to add to what we are already doing. It also gives me ideas on new games to create in our house as well.

Plus they have a lot of printables (coloring, letters) that I plan to use as well for them.

I don't either but $60 compared to free resources on the Internet is still $60

Lol! Have you looked into your local library to see if they offer "reading" days? Museums will often do "education" days for little ones as will zoos. Those are great learning tools. Even pawn shops. Sounds odd but, if you go to a more upscale one you can teach them about things you wouldn't normally see. If you don't know about it, chances are, the shop clerk will.

Cool ideas, thanks! We're very active on the weekends and love to do new stuff. Love the pawn shop idea.

I was asking about online preschool stuff a week or two ago. If this is truly educational, I'd love to spend $7.95 a month on this program. That isn't much AT ALL.
