What is this rash?

It began around his wrist a couple weeks ago and keeps going up his arm. He was supposed to have a doctor's appointment about it last week, but his doctor canceled because she was in the hospital. In the meantime, I've been treating it with Benedryl creams and the like. Nothing is working. What is this? It's apparently not contagious because everyone has been around him like normal and I've even touched it. No one else has it.

Could be bed bug bites.

You know, I thought about that. Do you think that's what it looks like, though? My aunt recently discovered bed bugs in her house and had to throw a bunch of furniture out and wash all her clothes and whatnot... Kaden has spent some time down there with my younger cousin. Wouldn't the bites go away more quickly than this has lasted, though? He's had this rash for a couple weeks and it keeps moving further up his arm.

No one at my aunt's house has anything that looks like this. My cousin had a few bites, but it didn't look this bad.

My friend has bad eczema and psoriosis (sp?) and it looks exactly like that, she started getting it bad like that around the age of 5ish.

It's not that. He hasn't been outside much lately because of all of the cold weather.

If it was at your aunt's house he could of brought the infestation into your home, I would be checking things for them like the seams of the mattress he sleeps on. It looks like it to me...if you google "bed bug bites" it looks like that.

It sort of does look like what he has, but how come no one else is being bitten like he is? And they're not biting him anywhere else but his arm? And they're not going away?

Maybe it is only on his mattress? He could also be scratching them a lot and then they aren't healing. Idk, could also be eczema. Does he scratch a lot? Try putting some hydrocortisone on it & see what it does.
