that didnt go as planned

well been to the doctors for a blood test to confirm if i am pregnant or not but it didnt quite happen that way...DS decided to snatch the needle from my arm so got to try again tomorrow  

That doesn't make any sense... Why did they just not stick you again? Are you going back tomorrow with out your LO?

its very hard to find veins on me, they did try again but couldnt get any, yes my mum is going to have them for me, i had no choice to take them with me today

i didnt let him i just wasnt in the position to stop him, my arm was strapped up with a needle in it and i couldnt reach him with the other, he was playing in the corner with some toys we didnt realise he had got up until he grabbed it

i wasnt holding him ive already explained that in the previous comment

no one can ever get my veins they usually just have to guess then they get nothing in the tube and have to keep guessing till it starts filling up with my blood, always leave with multiple puncture wounds, look like a junky   i dont see why they didnt just keep trying.

they usually would but it wasnt my official appointment, they fit me in between other patients so i only had a limited time

it really does, every time i go in they have a joke saying oh no not you again, its like getting blood from a stone lol, i have it on my pregnancy records that i am to be sent straight to a phlembotomist (sp) at the hospital, my veins are that bad i have had to have a canula (drip) in my thumb before

thank you me too, its looking like the positive they got friday was a false positive as they tested my urine again this morning and it came back negative so they blood test is just a confirmation either way, if its negative i can go a head and get the copper coil fitted

lol i dunno why they end up trying to feel and guess   im used to it now, i dont mind im not scared of needles like some people, that would suck!
