I had bleeding with both my boys. Placenta previa and a small sub-chorionic hemorrhage with 1DS and unexplained bleeding from 4-11 weeks with DS2

Sorry but I went into lurking mode after I saw the stuff in the group on FB. I bled a lot & had a large clot when I was 9 weeks along. After I was checked I was still pregnant though so I think I lost one. I hadn't yet had bloodwork done, just pee tests. Take all the time you need. I hope everything is alright

Oh you're fine in lurking mode lol. I just needed to escape from my fb for a bit. So you were pregnant with twins and lost one?

The first ultrasound I had was at 7 weeks(that's what my bloodwork showed hcg level wise) but you couldn't see anything so they brought me back 2 weeks later but 2 days before my appointment I passed a large clot with some blood. It looked just like my miscarriage i'd had before but since I didn't have an ultrasound showing 2 babies I tried to brush it off. I never once got a transvaginal U/S though

Ah. I'd assume they would have seen two last week, right? I had a transvaginal both times. You can clearly see the bleed behind the baby in my ultrasound though so I am pretty sure that's the only thing causing it. IDK I am calling in the morning though cause it's bugging me lol

I have had a long road...My 1st pregnancy was an Ectopic followed by 2 m/c's, daughter, Ruptured Ectopic, and now pregnant with my second daughter. I have low progesterone in pregnancy. My body doesn't like pregnancy to much. Once I can't get through the first trimester. 15 weeks to 25 weeks everything is great then with both daughters I have gestational diabetes and low iron

Is the bleed dangerous?

It can be I think, which is why they have me on bedrest. She said no lifting anything over 10 pounds, no sex and to become the most lazy woman alive   Her words lol She said that it can cause it to tear and bleed more which I notice more spotting when I overdo things along with cramping. But if it doesn't go away it can get in the way of the placenta attaching to the uterine wall when that time comes, which can cause a miscarriage. But, they are hoping mine has healed itself by the 28th.

I wish I had your Dr LOL. Any idea what causes those? I hope it heals quickly! It sounds painful

Nah, it's fairly common though, about 20% of women get them. A lot of the time they cause no issues and go away on their own though. And it was the nurse, I really like the nurse. I am not fond of the doctor though and I think I am going to find a new one.
