They shouldn't be teaching that in a "non religious" daycare

If you can't think of anything to say in person... write a letter. Then it's documented as well.

Unless he is in a public or government funded preschool, they have the legal right to teach the kids those songs.
I understand that you may not be comfortable with that, and surely you could voice your opinion to the director, but if it is causing an issue you're best resolve would be to pull your child from that particular school.

Of course they'd have a legal right under those circumstances, but it is completely reasonable for her to ask them to stop, and if they don't, then to move her kid. I think that's the point of this.

Also, I really feel that unless they STATE they are a Christian-based daycare, then they need to not be teaching these things to the kids.

I will admit I am religious DH is non religious but even as a religious person I would truly be offended they were doing this without asking us first there are to many religions, not religious families for them to make that decision without your consent. Cause I think it is a parents choice how and when they want there kid to learn about god and if there child wants to learn I do think parents should teach them or give them a way to learn you are not in the wrong in any way. I would have you and SO go and just calmly tell them you are not comfortable with it and its not fair for them to take that choice as a parent away from you.
