How old?

How old was your LO when you took them to their first movie in theaters? Dh is a big monsters inc fan and wants to take ds to see monsters university when it comes out in June and he'll just have turned 17 months old..do you think that's too young? Ds loves monsters inc too and will sit thru the whole thing.

I think it depends on the kid. My dd is 17 months as well and she won't even sit down for 30 seconds lol

I took my daughter when she was about 2 and a half. She looooved it and sat through the whole movie!

He is usually on the go all the time. He's a crazy no fear kid lol but there's certain shows or movies he really gets into and won't move  

3... but my son has no patience and is not a fan of sitting still. so he did good for the most part but still did not like sitting in his seat for that long

We took our first 2 when they were 2 and 3 to see Real Steel, they liked it but we had to tell them a few times to sit down and be quiet. It just depends on the kid and movie.

Oops I goofed lol he will be 17 months this month which means he will have just turned 20 months when the movie comes out haha whoopies

I've seen some pretty little young kids at the movies but I agree depends on the kid..my little brother couldn't sit still thru a movie at a theater until he was like 5 or 6

I would probably take my LO at almost 2 to monsters inc. I would take him out to calm down if he got loud or antsy, but I would also completely expect there to be some antsy kids at a movie like monsters university

Yeah I would expect that too   I think we will make that his first movie at the theater
