Worried!!

My three year old woke up this morning saying her head and ears are hurting anytime she tries to lift her head up. When I ask her where it hurts she rubs the spot where the hair starts behind her ears. She has no other symptoms and no fever. I had her hair in a high tight ponytail all day yesterday which she also slept with. Could this be what is causing the pain?? The drs office isn't open for another 2 hours... she is still saying it hurts and it has been about 45 mins. Would sore head from a ponytail be lasting this long??

No, i dont think it was the ponytail...
She may have an ear infection... lay her down and dont let her drink from a sippy cup or straw, it will make it worse... call the dr when they open and make an appointment. Hope she feels better!!

Have you tired washing her hair if the ponytail was hurting that would help. I would call the doctor as soon as you can though.

Kids can get head aches just like we do... It could be from her hair...Maybe try a warm bath to let her hair loosen up

My hair does that, when I use it in ponytail in summer, thefirst next day it hurts, then it gets used to it and stops hurting. But of course you should call your doctor to be safe.
