Quoting ~Manda Panda +3 ~:" Y'know....this was quite the cop out of a birth story BWAHAHAHA <3 So happy for you "
Lol, I know
Basically...a membrane sweep did the trick for me. Had an NST and my 40 week appt. I was 2-3cm, 70% and having irregular contractions. The sweep got them going stronger. Went to hospital around 6:30. By then I was 4cm, 80%. Water broke around 10. Baby started having heart decels so they put my on oxygen and had me lay on my side. When I was on my side my contractions completely stopped, so once baby stablized they put me back on my back. Contractions picked up again. At 11:18 I started getting insane pressure/urge to push. She checked me and I was 7 cm. With next contraction pressure got worse. She checked me again and I was still 7cm. Next contracion I was basically doing a back bend trying to resist the urge to push. She checked me again (5 minutes after the last check). Her eyes got like
and she told the other nurse to quick get the doctor. They rushed him in, and in 3 pushes Everett was out. Cord was around the neck, but other than that he was perfect. Labor was like 5 hours. I could not believe how fast he came out.
