Bleeding at 16w...

Im not quite sure what to do.
Even with my last pregnancy I bled quite frequently and went in very often to be seen. It was never anything wrong, and they always just sent me on my way saying I have an irritable cervix.

I got a rhogam shot at 10 week in this pregnancy for spotting. Well I had sex last night and since then I have been bleeding. Normally its just spotting but now it's a little more and it still hasn't gone away. I don't have any cramping, though.

should I wait it out longer or go in? My only option today would be to go to the ER, so that's why im skeptical. I don't feel it's an emergency, and even if it was what could they do anyways being im only 16 weeks?

I know bleeding is normal during pregnancy but if you feel like something is wrong never hesitate to go in and get checked. Even if everything is all right it will still put your mind at ease. Trust your instincts. But if you feel like its normal then just wait to see your dr tomorrow. GL momma

Call your OB and ask. I wouldn't head to the ER without talking to them first. I assume it's just from sex. Put yourself on bedrest today.

Thats the thign, I dont know. Normally I wouldn't think twice about it, esp being related to sex because it happened so often in the past. Im just confused as to why it hasn't stopped yet.

Id call my OB but they don't have anyone answering phones on weekends. Its ER or wait until Monday, here. I honestly don't think it's ER worthy but I don't want to be stupid and ignore something if it's a concern. I already had my rhogam... So that takes care if that aspect of concern.

can you leave a message and then they call you back outside of office hours - thats how my midwife works.

Honestly I would just watch the bleeding for a little longer and make sure it doesnt get worse. If it stays the same as in not a whole lot and you dont have any cramps I would just wait til tomorrow. But if it does start getting worse I would head to the ER.

They don't do that here. You'd have to go to the ER and they would page the OB on call, whichever it may be, only if they couldn't treat you without the OB.

Good old' term "I'D RATHER BE SAFE THAN SORRY" .. Maybe call a nurse line first & see what they say, otherwise I'd go in just to be safe!
