Vitamin D deficiency and fatigue

I have been extremely tired for the past few months, I went to the doctor and got blood tests done, my iron, thyroid, blood sugar, and a whole bunch of other things came back normal. After those number were fine, she decided to have my vitamin D checked. She called me last night, to inform me my numbers were WAY low. She put me on a high dose of vitamin D for the next 8 weeks, and after that I go on just a normal dose. Has anyone ever had this before? Did you start feeling better after the vitamins got in your system? I can't find a whole lot of information online for it. Everything I find, has nothing to do with the fatigue.

I have really low vitamin D that I have a hard time bringing up.
The doctor that first tested my levels said that low levels can cause tiredness. Hopefully you start feeling better as your levels improve.

Hmmmm I'm always tired as well. Maybe I should go get that checked. I was told tho when I was 17 when I had the sleep apnea test done that no i didn't have that but I had something wrong with my brain that made it not shut off at night when I tried to go to sleep. So instead of reaching full sleep i would barely sleep and my brain would keep me awake at night making me tired during the day. I was prescribed sleeping pills to help with it but since I was a minor Medicaid didn't pay for any sleeping pills the dr prescribed. Maybe go get a sleep study done and see if that shows anything.

I am hoping it happens that quick for me too! I am just worried that before I get the energy back up, I will end up pregnant, so I will be tired for a different reason! LOL
