can babies have gas in the womb?

can you baby get gas inside of you? I know its prolly a dumb question but im just wondering bc I keep feeling this weird bubbling feeling and I know I don't have it.... no bashing please.

maybe... if they get hiccups then air is getting trapped in them... just like gas

There would have to be air in there for a fart, and there is not, so no.

For your baby to have gas there would have to be air, since baby is floating in fluid, there's no air. So no gas. Could be hiccups or baby wiggling it's toes/fingers.

They are breathing amniotic fluid, not air, so when they hiccup it doesn't have anything to do with air

if the baby has gas thats not good! LOL but yeah its probably hiccups, they say around 23 weeks when they start swallowing amniotic fluid they can get hiccups

Hiccups have nothing to do with air. It's spasms in your diaphragm that causes hiccups.

When babies hiccup in utero, it has nothing to do with air. They hiccup because they "breathe" in amniotic fluid, and it's a natural reaction and a healthy part of development.
