At the High School I went to there has been this weird baby influx. So many girls have been falling pregnant and leaving. There are only around 30-40 students in each year level and around 25 students a year are leaving and having babies. One girl in my year level has had 4 and she only 19. There are around 6 that were 2 years behind me (they are 17) that have been due the last couple of weeks. 1 of them had their baby last week and named him Zayde Shad-Lain DJ Lawrence F.......

I cant imagine having a baby at 17. Being 19 and having one is hard enough.

I know its their babies but the names they are choosing for their children.

That's insane... My graduating class all graduated before any of us got pregnant and Im still the only one pregnant. We did have one girl that was supposed to graduate with us have a baby two years ago but she dropped out way before she got pregnant so I don't really count her. The whole time I was in highschool only one girl ever got pregnant and we are in highschool from grade 7-12.

Sounds like my school. I got pregnant when I was 14 and I didn't even worry about being judged at school because it's so common it's almost expected.

There was this one girl, when we were freshman she was pregnant with her third. That was definitely shocking.

OP, your profile says neither of you even have jobs. Why you're being so judgmental is mind boggling.

She chose it because she thought it would make him cool. I have met children with names like that when theey are older and they hate it. Like a little boy whose first name is Ayeneseleigh (Ainsley) or Kialle (Kyle). They hate it. Ayeneseleigh cant spell his name and he is nearly 10. They dont feel special. My parents spelt the last letter of my first name different and after 18 years of spelling it for people I started going by my middle name.

The shocking thing is all the people having babies so young. They dont have any high school qualifications. What are they going to do when their children are at school and they need to get a job because you can only be on the benefit till your child is 5 over here. They cant go to tech or uni or anything. They have no work experience so its going to be a mission getting into a job. At least in America you can do your GED or study at home.

agree there too, I was 20 when I had my first and even though we were married and my DH had a well paying job, I still think we were way young to be having babies lol

We didnt get pregnant intentionally. We met after Caitlyn was pregnant and how she got pregnant is something we dont like to talk about because it wasnt a horrible event. She left her job to have a baby. I was at university but got sick and ended up in hospital for months and I am too sick to work.

Would you rather Caitlyn had aborted the baby? She didnt chose to have what happened, happen to her. But it did and then she met me and together we are raising him.

These are 14-17 year olds purposely getting pregnant while they are in high school
