Is it selfish

posted 16th Mar
Is it selfish to want a child after you have hd an ab. So,entices I feel like I'm being selfish because I want to start trying this summer after having one 6 months ago. Other times I tell myself we made the decision we thought was the best at the time. I know we can not replace what is lost and I'm not trying to do that. I really am not trying to be selfish at all.

It's nobody's business but yours and your SOs. If the two of you feel ready to try and are truly in a better spot than you were 6 months ago, then go for it!

Best of luck!

It's not selfish. If this is what you both want, go for it.

It's no one's business besides yours and your SO's, and it's certainly not selfish. Don't let anyone make you feel that way.

It's not selfish. Just make sure that you think it through completely. That you're in a better situation now and if there were any other reasons for your decision back then that they've been resolved.

It's not selfish. If you're sure that whatever was stopping you from completing the other pregnancy has resolved, and you'll be more emotionally/physically/fiscally stable, go ahead. You're an adult capable of making your own choices.

Thanks ladies we are still discussing it but we are leaning on starting to try. A lot of things have changed and some we are still working on. Right now I take it one day at a time. Our finances are in much better shape. We started looking at houses and my nutrition is so mich better. I am getting ready to go off my very low dosage of anti depressants in a couple weeks. To get ready to start trying and I see a therapist twice a month to work on some issues I have. So things have definately changed since 6 months ago.

It's not selfish but your guilt is normal. I still feel guilty two pregnancies and five years later.
