How much paint?

I will be painting a room in my house on Monday. Its an average bedroom, with two windows that take up a majority on one wall and a closet that takes up a majority on the other wall. I bought one can of primer and one can of paint. So two gallons in total. Is that enough?

I don't know what you consider an average size, but in my house it took to gallons per room not including primer.

Yes it should be plenty.

If it's a smaller room, like a 10x10 or normal bedroom size, 1 can of primer and 1 can of paint would be enough, even if your doing the closet.

But if your worried, 2 gallons isn't going to hurt.

We just painted my daughters room and my husband thinks it's 11x12 and we could of used all of one gallon to paint the walls and closet but we bought 2 colors.
