Natural ways to induce labor....

Does anybody know of any natural ways to help induce labor? That is safe for the baby and mommy as well. I am just curious cause I am already 38wks and not even dialted to a 1 yet. Any advice is appreciated. Thank you all

All the safe and natural ways to speed up labor won't really induce labor but if your body and baby are ready sex, walking lots,going up and down stairs and I think nipple stimulation will speed up labour.

Being patient and waiting for baby. They don't have a calender in there, you know.

Don't worry about not being dilated, it honestly means nothing. Some women are dilated for months without labor, some women don't dilate at all until labor begins.

Waiting and waiting...

I'm right there with you. Only 1 cm dialated for 3 weeks and I have been having contractions for 5 days. Plus I just found out Wed that I have Pre-E. All that being said, walking and sex are pretty much all you can do, and it only works when your body is ready.

I have been very desperate myself, due to my curved spine and constant pain mixed with BH contractions and lack of sleep, so I looked up ways to naturally induce labor. I found that walking, sex, herbal tea (raspberry tea leaf), and castor oil are suggestions. I have been walking an hour a day, having plenty of sex, and even tried castor oil ( didnt do anything ). So you can try all of these things but in the end if your baby isn't ready you will be waiting too. Sorry...

Castor oil is dangerous, and any contractions it MAY cause are generally just because of dehydration from having the flying smurfs from the castor oil. The rest of these can help, but if labor isn't already on the verge of happening on it's own, it's not going to happen. The only sure bet, is time.

ive looked up ways to help labor progress because i thought i was in early labor. the only things i found were the usual sex walking castor oil all the teas, my mom did say if you get a lot of cramps to take a hot shower and if its true contractions when you get out they will be worse instead of better. so every time i cramp i hop in the shower lol...
