I know your talking to the OP cause I am not anywhere near a teen.. but we are going with a used one because it is a little cheaper and we are all about saving money... and the few that we did look at were company cars.. so no one really owned them and mileage was very low. But my husband and I have worked for everything we have. Insurance will be higher on the OP cause she is younger.. but for us, our insurance will only go up $20.

Sorry not trying to be mean or anything... I see your point. But I was the one who suggested the used one because I really want a luxury car, but I am frugal with our money too. So it's the best of both worlds for me.

My husband is 25, when you get married your insurance goes down and I have a clean record plus were military with USAA insurance on an 08 eclipse I paid 82.00 Full coverage a month.

Yes they are! I must agree, except when you get checks made out to you and can't get them to scan right, it irritates me lol, only downside is there are no branches like how Extraco and stuff have main offices and tellers and etc. But usaa has WONDERFUL car loan rates, house rates to, but no point in us buying at all.

I have an 05 Jeep Liberty Limited and I just love it. It's a small Suv, but the back seat is great for two car seats and the trunk has lot's of space and it's so much fun to drive. My husband just got rid of our Honda Civic Hybrid because the payments were a little higher and we wanted to save money and though, they say it gets great gas milage, for some reason when the weather is hotter it gets worse gas mileage than in the winter time. But we just bought a used 2003 Mazda 6 and it is fun to drive too. The back seat is spacious and I love the trunk space, but we lowered our payements by half in that car and insurance is also lower. YAY. We are done with car shopping for now thank God. I hate the search of finding the right car for you and your family.
