Insanity surprise o.O

posted 16th Mar
DH just told me to order it... He told me if after a year pp I hadn't lost much that we would try something else (plus I think he wants to buff it up for his promotion) I am kind of in shock as I never really thought we would get it.

Ladies is it as rough as they say? I know it's gonna be tough but how strict is the diet plan? Do you need all the extras or can you just push play and go?

I've heard numerous stories of insanity completely kicking ass. but people get great results.

I'm trying it after I complete power 90.

you don't need any equipment

It's hard. Especially if you do it everyday. After 2 weeks I really didn't want to do it at all. To be honest, I got better results with 30DS. I think the strength training part is just as important as the cardio, and Insanity totally lacks that.

I got a friend to download and burn them for me. When I started them I was dropping 3lbs every other day. It was nuts!!!! I cannot wait to do it again. But for now I stick to my pregnancy workouts. lol

yes it is rough. i couldnt get past warmup LOL. you will lose weight, though. i recommend doing weight watchers with it instead of the diet he gives you to (to lost weight), and once you are down to your desired weight then do the protein diet that comes with the system to build up muscle tone.

So you saw results without the diet plan? That's my worry because I hate sticking to only certain diets. Of course I realize cutting bad foods helps a lot but I am not going to be motivated on a diet of tofu and water. Did you eat normally? Or did you do another plan?

I did not follow the diet plan and was losing up to 6lbs a week. I mostly at lean meats, veggies, dairy/carbs here and there. The inches were melting off me!

That's good to know. I was worried that if you didn't do the diet you weren't getting the results

google "clean eating". it's the EASIEST thing to follow. it's NOT a diet, it's just minor adjustments to your eating habits that encourages lots of water, lots of fresh veggies and fruits, plenty of lean proteins and frequent meals. you're still able to cook all your favorite recipes, too! but with asjustments that go according to the guidelines

EVERYONE I know who works out eats clean. I've been doing it or a month and have lost weight even when I'm not working out. I feel so much better and have so mucho the energy!

I just ate "clean" with an occasional cheat day. I only did 3 weeks of insanity but I could already see a difference in my performance

I have a mostly vegetarian diet to begin with but the only thing I changed was switching out soda for green tea.
