re: TTC for over a year

I know. It took all the power I had not to murder someone. Thankfully I never talked to anyone in person, it was always over the phone (as insurance always is, those cowards!).

This month officially makes a year dh & I have been ttc  I was on bc for 5 yrs & got pregnant right away with my son after going off the pill so I just assumed this time would be the same also. All of my af's from July up untill January were "normal" [I was on a 28 day cycle] from January to February I bleed for 41 days & have not seen Af sense then so im going on 5 months with no af. Sometime around June 15th I noticed my nipples were leaking sry if tmi   I just assumed that was another lovely side effect from going off the pill   Dh told me the other day how he's been worried about me so I called the doctor & told her everything that's going on & she sounded concerned. She said lets get you in the office asap & see what's causing your af to be absent for so long & all that so I have an appt. July 9 she said she was going to do a pregnancy test, but besides that do you ladies know what else she might do? Dh came yesterday form work with a pregnancy test & of coarse it was BFN so im not pregnant. Every month around the same time I get mood swings like pms, my face breaks out, I get bloated & cramps as if af will come, but never does.

Same here, and my period wasn't here since Oct/Nov 2008 (both of those induced with Provera, before that, May 2008, then before that Dec 2007). Then doc said I have PCOS (explains everything that happened in the last 4 years after my son was born) and was prescribed Provera again, got my period.

Im praying that there is nothing wrong, but the more I read about the symptoms of PCOS im thinking thats what I may have =[ Thank you for responding back & I see your due in feb. Congrats I hope you have a happy & healthy pregnancy!  ......im going to go google PCOS & Provera so I can better understand everything & so im not lost if my doctor starts talking about those things LOL

There are a lot of symptoms to PCOS and not all people have all the symptoms. I only have the weight gain/trouble losing weight, a very slightly raised testosterone level, and the anovulation (not ovulating) and low progesterone (which says I'm not getting regular periods). My cholesterol is actually LOW (105 total, last time it was checked), my BP is normal (last checked was 117/7 , and my blood sugar levels are normal.
I do have tiny little cysts on my left ovary, too.

Yea, I was put on Clomid 50mg during my cycle (Days 5 - 9), I did Basal Body Temp readings, and I charted those on fertilityfriend.com to help figure out when I ovulated, and to see if I had an implantation dip, or anything on there that could have given me clues to my body. I loved using BBT. It taught me SO much.
I was NOT expecting to conceive on just one round of Clomid at the lowest dosage. Not at all. I figured it'd take 3 months or longer.

I don't have all the symptoms, and my PCOS, I guess, is fairly mild. My sister has a more severe version (very high testosterone that causes her to have male pattern hair growth on her body, male pattern balding, acne, the weight, cysts that rupture, very high bp, pre-diabetes, and even has hyper-ovulation (two eggs every cycle)).
It runs in my family on my mom's side.

If you know anyone on your mother's side that has PCOS, or has Endrometriosis (my mom has it), that can help you determine if you have a high chance of getting it.

I wish I could ask my mom, but she died in 1997 & I lost contatct with her family cause they were a bit weird lol! I read it can also run in the dads side also, but all I have left of my dad side is my uncle & two brothers that I know the rest live in other states like indiana( my dad passed in 97 also ) so im kinda SOL when it comes to getting family health info. I do know that before I had my son they found a large cyst on my right overy which is why I went on BC to help with my painfull cycles & make them regular. My hair line is going back & I noticed a small bald spot on the back of my head Dh said its because I wear my hair in a pony tail all the time, but it just makes me wonder from what I read & what you told me about PCOS if its being caused by that. Before my son I weighed 128 exactly now im 184   I do two hours of cardio exercise 5 days a wk with NO results its getting really frustrating =[ I tried alli & was doing fantastic on it went down to 157 then dh & I started ttc so I stopped the Alli & I was back to 184 within a month or two. I feel like im traped in a body that does not belong to me

I live in Belleview like 20-30 minutes from Ocala

The wierdest thing - a year ago to the date of my LMP it was my last, I became pregnant my first mo. off the birth controll - but then we lost the baby at 14/15 weeks. So thru the miscarriage, and thru dealing with irregular periods etc. here we are a year later, I had my period the exact same day I had it a year ago when I became pregnant, and then 10 days later I had VERY CLEAR signs of O - I think now - more of a feeling and not just wishful thinking that I am - dare I say it - pregnant, but to early for a test. If I am my due date will be the same as it would have been last year - (sorry if I babbled, I hope this makes sence, but to weird not to share with all of you)

My AF has been MIA sense Feb. I made an appt for July 9 & today I saw a lil bit of red on the toilet paper when I used the bathroom, just my luck AF will show now that I have an appt. I swear my body is playing mind games with me!! haha

I was thinking about it earlier today. Next month will make 5 years that we have been TTC   That equals 60 months worth of BFNs

I'm new here && need support also..I SERIOUSLY hope you get your BFP soon. I hate this feelin and wish you and everyone the best of luck and TONS OF MILLIONS of baby dust!

I'm new to this site and I see A LOT of women going thru what I'm going thru and I thought I was the only 19 yr old going thru infertility.. .. Sad for me huh?? Well I can't keep feeling bad for myself but I just thought that I will get pregnant QUICK like all my sisters did..Matta fact my sister is 4 months pregnant now as I speak and it hurts because she wasn't even trying. I'm the only one in my fam who has to take fertility drugs in order to conceive. I don't have PCOS or anything, my tubes just may be blocked but I can't get a HSG done right now.. My gyn just told me try the Clomids right now. My periods are normal and regular also..My fiance and I will not give up hope thow because we have confidence and we pray. I wish everyone on this post the best of luck and tons and tons of baby dust so that BFP will come up soon as possible. ..
