I had a 5.6cm on on my right ovary. They removed it in August. She told me I could have gone on bc to try and shrink it but since we were trying to have a baby she didn't want me to get on it unless I wanted to put ttc aside for a while. But she said it was my choice whether I wanted to take it or not. I chose not to since we are trying. But since then I haven't had ovulation pains. I finally got a positive on an opk and some ovulation pains on my right side. I'm just hoping the egg pops through ok.

I had one last month that was about the size of my uterus. I was told it could take 2-3 cycles to go away. I was gone when I went in for my ultrasound a few days ago. She was shocked.

Lord I hope and pray I get that lucky.
My RE didn't even tell me what the medicine was he put me on I found out by searching online
My RE has not been the best in the world. Every time I go to him he acts like its the first time I've seen him and I started seeing him in July.
I just don't understand why he put me on this. He did mention to me that we would possibly do another IUI around Christmas depending if the cyst shrinked. I just get so frustrated with all of this! Its been way too long!

I haven't been trying as long as you but I can feel your frustrations. Just when you think you can go ahead and ttc which ever way works for you something happens. Before I got preggo with my angel baby I ovulated every month on my own and didn't have any issues. I miscarried in Dec. and kept ovulating. My last ovulation that was shown was my June one and then in July I found out about my cyst so one of my ovulations went wrong and it formed a cyst. I didn't ovulate at all since August and this is the first time I did. I'm hoping the egg popped through because I'm scared of another cyst forming if it didnt. I go see my doc on the 27th so I will see what she says. I hope your cyst shrinks and you can do your IUI. We're hoping for a positive hpt in the near future. I'm not getting my hopes up though.

25 more days until I test   Hoping this is our month, last chance to conceive in 2012, and REALLLLLLY not wanting to wait until 2013 for our BFP. I think I may be ovulating early this cycle, just judging by CM and cramping, but resisting the urge to do OPKs and just relax and wait it out.

My RE told me about birth control shrinking but she said that cyst caused by clomid normally go away on their own within a few cycle. The only thing she was worried about was ovarian torsion.

I have a question. I got my first positive on an opk on the 18th. It was late that night that I got my first positive. All day yesterday I tested about 4 times and I watched the test line go from as dark to darker than the control line. I had the cramping in my ovary area and lower back to associate with ovulation. Tonight I just tested again with an opk to see if it has gone back to negative but I got a positive again. This time the line was as dark as the control line. It wasn't darker than it. I don't have the cramping anymore though. I just have the headache. Could it be that I ovulated today or should I have ovulated yesterday since I had the cramping. The cramping was bad then eased up almost suddenly yesterday then it stopped completely. It's confusing. I never really had this issue. Could anyone help me with this. Now I'm concerned that I may actually have PCOS but I never had problems having positive opks until I've ovulated.

Uh I can't wait that long
I am very anxious right now because dh could Lose his job anytime and if that happens we would lose our insurance to pay for our treatments.

I'm new to the site, but not TTC. We've been trying 2.5 years already mostly due to very bad doctors (OBGYNs and REs) who have no idea how to deal with a patient who has PCOS. I believe too many myths fly around about this syndrome and so it's overlooked.

Anywho my husband and I are getting ready for Femara cycle #1 in December. I'm excited to see if I'll ovulate.

Good luck. I have one doctor who threw PCOS at me after only seeing me one time while the doctor who did my surgery and the ob/gyn who delivered my 5 year old and the son I miscarried says I don't have it. I had surgery in August and since then I've not really had any ovulation. But this month I had a nice strong surge and felt the pains so I'm sure I've ovulated finally! Don't give up. We've been trying since losing our son in December and no luck yet. I know it's not as long as some of these women but it's still frustrating especially since it only took 2 cycles the first time.

Thank you I hope so too but I don't feel very positive. I am ready for AF to come. I'm tired of getting hopes up. I know I ovulated which is a big step forward but it's to get preggo again. I'm trying to get hubby to stop doing it every night and do it every other night again. That is how we did it last time.

I just wanted to introduce myself...I'm Danielle, new to the site but definitely not new to TTC. We've been TTC since Oct 2011 when I had my Mirena IUD removed and had two early miscarriages. We have one daughter, who was born in Dec 2008. Just got AF a few days ago, so starting my cycle over again for our,...15th cycle or something along those lines. I don't even keep track anymore these days. My periods are completely irregular, but were totally regular until about 3 months ago. Now they come when they want, normally about 2 weeks later than they should be.

it's time for me to join this thread. It has been a year now since hubby and i decided to try for baby #3, but the problem is... I still am nursing and have not gotten my first post partum AF, sooo it's really hard to TTC without knowing at all what I'm working with, plus I am not even ovulating so it seems pointless! I just ordered vitex online and as soon as I get it I am startingto take it. 800mg a day.

So I am also working on night weaning my son, he is 21months old now, and anyways, last night he only nursed once before 3am, and from 3am-7am there was no nursing at all, which is rare for us. I woke up again with mild cramping. I have had many days with mild cramping for the past two weeks or so. I keep feeling my period is going to come, but still nothing!! I can't wait for my vitex to arrive!
