Quoting JenGJ:" I stopped taking tests months ago - too expensive and depressing. Been TTC for about 19 months now, has ... [snip!] ... if it doesn't work and he just doesn't get that I would be totally devastated if we actually can't have our own baby at all."
Quoting CuteExplodenKitties:" How many fertility appointments in before the will prescribe clomid or anything else? I finally have ... [snip!] ... for DHs semen analyses, which was normal, and then waiting to get an appointment to get a referral to make an appointment "
Quoting Ryans Mommy TTC #2:" Usually after 1 yr of ttc.......i've tried clomid three times without success, but thats because dh's ... [snip!] ... it works, but our RE recommended IVF, but we are going to try the other option first a few times before doing that route"We're over a year now, I'm waiting for my next cycle to have an Hsg test down they didn't have any openings for my last. I also had my CD3 test down last week.
Quoting Mama*AtoZ:" Im glad this post is here too! There is a big difference in those who are stressing over their first ... [snip!] ... been waiting for years to bring that baby home! Big hugs to all of us TTC veterans! ***tons of O and sticky baby dust***"
Quoting ~:Ashley{AIMZ}:~:" May I join? I don't know if you consider this TTC for over a year but we started trying in Aug '10, had ... [snip!] ... trying in Aug '10, had a miscarriage in Feb '11 kept trying until June of this year and then miscarried again last week. "
Quoting Uh-milly'Yuh:" Definitely counts. TTC doesn't stop until you take home a baby!"
Quoting ~:Ashley{AIMZ}:~:" I'll agree to that. "
Quoting Uh-milly'Yuh:" Have you had any testing done for your losses?"
Quoting ~:Ashley{AIMZ}:~:" Not yet. I have an appointment on the 17th of this month to talk to my midwife and have it done. I'm ... [snip!] ... it done. I'm thinking it's APS, my aunt has it so there is a chance that I have it but I'm crossing my fingers that it's not. "
Quoting Uh-milly'Yuh:" I know women who have APS have to treat it with injections, but is it fairly successful? Might be better ... [snip!] ... pregnancy but then I lost that one too. I just pray that one was a fluke and that it's not something that remains undiagnosed."My aunt was able to have 4 childre with the treatments. It's aspirin and heparin. I just don't want to have it and then have to leave my midwives practice. I think technically I would be high risk so that would ot be good. I definitly want a diagnosis but then I don't.
