Quoting Mama to A ♥:" Not everyone has a horrible experience but mine was! I don't want you to get freaked out reading mine, ... [snip!] ... 27 hours, start to finish. I will never get induced again unless its 100% needed, and I will never get an epidural again."
Quoting ♥GarciaMommy:" I felt like the epideral helped me relax enough to allow me body to do the job. The pain of the contractions ... [snip!] ... 41 weeks and 4 days. My baby girl is stubborn like her momma. Don't stress on things you can not change. You will be fine."The epidural didn't really do anything from me. The turned down my pitocin and I was a 7 and went to a 9 in less then 15 minutes. I was a 9 as soon as I laid down from the epidural, it hadn't even started working yet! lol Then I was pushing in an hour and they turned it off. But the epidural gave me a big numb spot on my thigh. I'm so against those things now!

But the second birth, the nurse made sure I had laid down to let it settle in and an hour later my baby was out and I didn't feel a thing.

Like you could still move/feel your legs? That's what mine was. I could feel my legs enough to walk, lol.
