Exactly. You sure do. At least you're coming on here and asking your questions before believing some of the crap I've heard u talk about people telling you lately   you're doing great. It sounds like you have great instincts. Trust them. Then when in doubt ask BG haha

Lol yeah between you guys and my mom I think I'm pretty good lol I'd definitely go nuts if I didn't have one or both.

I took mine out the day after she was born. We went to toys r us the next day to get some things (I used to work there) and one of my old co workers made a comment about having her out so soon. I was like really? She has only been sick 1 time and that was when she was 4 months old and it lasted 2 or 3 days. It's not going to kill your baby. I noticed a lot of much older women are really against it for some reason. And since I started taking her out so early she enjoys going places and is so good with new people.

I'm sure this has already been addressed, but it sounds like you are doing a great job mama. Obviously you have enough sense not to let a ton of people touch her or hold her and you can't keep her in a bubble forever. I made one of those carseat canopies for when we go out. I waited until at least 4 weeks to take my sons out (besides doctors appointment) but you really just have to use your common sense. I'm due soon with baby #3 and staying in the house for that long is not an option for me this time.

You are going to run into all kinds of unwanted opinions and advice from everyone. Just trust your instincts and try to turn a deaf ear to people like that. I don't believe that moms go out of their way to make their baby sick or be unsafe.

She's already really good with other people so far. She really likes my mom lol. And she only fusses when she's hungry, even then half the time she just whines and starts rooting.

I took my first out when he was just a few days old. We were in the hospital for 3 days, so he was about 4 days old. Went to IHOP, then the next day to my grandma's.  

Your baby will be fine. We took our baby out to the fair when he was almost week old...we went through the corn maze and my husband had him in the baby carrier the whole time lol..
