I used carriers with my kids, but I have been seeing those cute wraps a lot lately! I think I'd like to try that but I'm scared of it unwrapping  

if you are interested in co-sleeping, maybe something like this. close but not quite like co-sleeping... i would get one if I had to extra money but I don't think I would use it long enough to justify the price

It won't unwrap but from a heavy wrap user...I just bought an ergo and by far my favorite carrier. The wraps are just to involved in putting on, you have to do that before you leave to go to the store or whatever. Ergo takes like 10 seconds and its really comfortable.

This looks nice. I think that I want to get a super adorable little bassinet with our next LO that can go right beside our bed. He/she won't stay in our room for longer than a month or two. Our first LO was only in our room for 2 weeks, lol.

my first was in our room for almost 7 months  

I only planned on her being in there for like 1-2 months, but we lived in an upstairs appt. (more like an attic appt.) and it was so hot and the only cool room was ours so she stayed in there all summer. she slept in a bassinet for about 2 months and then she was too big for it so she slept in her pack n play.

With my next we are just going to buy a pack n play with the bassinet attachment, instead of buying a bassinet and a pack n play

We used the pack n play and I planned on him being in our room for a couple of months but he made waaaaay too much noise while he was sleeping and I would be afraid to move for fear of waking him up, lol. I did buy a video monitor though and would spend long amounts of time watching him on it!
