Disney on Ice

Has anyone ever been to this?
Is it good?
Worth the money?
Did your kids love it?
MIL got my daughter and I pink tickets for August. But after putting a lot of thought into it, I really don't want to take DD. Its a 3 hour show, standing tickets, and not to mention the sea of people. She really wants to go, and I'd love to take her if we had seating tickets, but there's no way she could last standing for that long....and she would get crushed to death.
So I was thinking of giving MIL the money that she spent on DD ticket, and take DD to something a lil more age appropriate. That's when I saw the add for Disney on Ice.
So wants your thoughts?

I would definitely take my 3 yr old to disney on ice vs a pink concert. Those concerts are soooo loud and people drink and get rowdy.

Yep my 4 year old went this past January and the January before that. He loved it! We splurge and get front row seats so we arent all clustersmurfed with a bunch of people all around us.

DD is 8....is it still age appropriate for her?
I just had a look at tickets then, all front row seats are gone. But I can get 2 VIP seats for $105. The price actually surprised me....I thought it would be heaps more.

That's the thing....she really isn't into anything lol. I just really don't want to take her to the pink concert, so thought I would try and compromise
