Contractions?

So for the past few hours now I been having sharp pains in my stomach, especially just above my crotch (sorry if that was tmi) along with bad back pain, I'm 40 weeks now. It also hurts worse when I walk or sit a certain way. Could these be contractions?

I would think so, I experienced the same thing and had my baby couple hours later. If the pain gets worse I would go in.

I took a hot bath and when I got up to get out of the tub it started to hurt again, sometimes it hurts so bad I wanna scream

It helps a lot to breath in and out as they come. I think your in labor, but I'm not a doctor so I would suggest you go in now before your fully dialated. Good luck and I wish you a safe labor and delivery. =)
