My tummy was very sensitive when I was pregnant. The ultrasounds always hurt, and my tummy would be more sore the next couple days. I always had a different ultrasound tech too, so I couldn't blame it on her. I doubt its anything bad, unless your getting a lot of pain, but you can call your doctor in the morning if you're worried.

Oh and the babies are safely padded, women get ultrasounds everyday and I don't think any babies have been hurt by them yet.

My ultrasounds always hurt. Especially as the baby moved down into position and the tech would try and measure her head. My tech wasn't exactly gentle.

My ultrasounds were not comfortable for me. I actually had some bleeding once. I think she stretched a stretch mark.

LOL I don't know what it was but I had a small cut near a stretch mark and a spot of blood on my underwear mixed with gel.

Stretch marks can crack and bleed.so.it could have been that the stretch mark.was very tense and she aggrevated it. Seems.very plausible.x

Quoting ℳizz ℊiz. :" I am 19 weeks and today at my ultrasound everything was fine. But then she slid over one spot on my tummy ... [snip!] ... our babies are 9 and 10 ounces. I feel them both moving right now, but now I'm worrying that maybe the ultrasound hurt them??"
That's normal! your belly is so sensitive   I had exactly the same and I've had loads of scan! x

had such horrible pain during my 18 week scan that i was sweating and couldnt breath. my daughter was sitting so low on my bladder and my bladder was full that it caused pain every time the tech would push around my bladder. i usually love getting ultrasounds done but man i wanted so bad for it to be over cuz i was dizzy afterwards.

Quoting ℳizz ℊiz. :" Also I push slightly on the spot now, (not hard. As gentle as she was sliding over the spot. So just slight pressure.) and I feel NOTHING anymore. The weird feeling is gone."
I'm thinking it probably was just one of the babies' limbs especially since you said you can push on it now without it hurting. I wouldn't worry too much although I know it's hard to do! My ultrasounds didn't exactly hurt but I do know sometimes when they would press up against my ribs, it would be a shooting pain. What you described though sounds like what I experienced(not during my ultrasound) but my girls would move and they would, not even joking....rake their arm across my stomach. You could literally see it as it happened and felt their elbows. Lol. It was odd. That would hurt and kinda sounds like what happened with you when the tech pressed down against your stomach.

It was, I loved it! But the more time passed, the worse it felt when it happened. Lol. So it wasn't something I looked forward to all the time. But it was amazing to feel when I was worried about them.
