That's exactly what my three month old does when he has a bad case of the toots. Maybe try bicycling his legs or laying him on his side. Warm baths help too if it is gas.

He is probably just becoming aware enough to be scared when you put him down.

i broke down & allowed him to have gas drops and he seemed less miserable but still fussy... and today he farted ALOT and pooped... he even slept on his back and pooped while on his back but after his bath I laid him on his back and he was content for a minute and then did that scared look/cry where is arms are outstretched and shakin... I wish I could read my babyes mind. LOL... but i htink I can rule out gas because he ot them out of his system.. I wanna call his pedi but they seem irritated with me because I took him in last week because he stopped breathin... I dont wanna seem crazy to them but I mean I want my child to not be in any pain as much as possible..

If you are nervous about "gas drops" use Gripe Water. It's totally natural, no chemicals.

Also, have you tried maybe using a moby, or sling to carry him around so he isn't screaming and you can still feel like your free to move about?

he let me use the moby once every time after he like tries to push himself up and out... he doesnt like bein in it so i keep tryin to introduce it daily... LOL

I'd say it may even be a growth spurt. . If baby seems like he is in pain, thats what it might be. . .

There was a period around the same time that my DS refused to not be held. He would scream bloody murder unless I was holding him. He eventually got out of that stage and is kind of back into it but he is going through a growth spurt atm. And honestly if you think that there is something wrong I wouldn't worry about your pedi's getting annoyed with you. Better safe then sorry right   good luck momma.
