normal behavior?

My son is a week shy from being 4mo. The last few days he's been weird. Before this, he's been an amazing baby, only cried when he was hungry. Now, he will straight up pouty face and do that blood curdling scream cry. Then laugh. Then just be whiney.
My mom (she babysits) and little sister was sick... And I have a head cold. Could he just not be feeling well? What do you do to make him feel better?
